downtown adventure

Today was significant because it was the first time I've been downtown since May left for Rome. After hanging out with Richard at the Raptors/Leafs Season Ticket holder appreciation, i found myself wandering on queen street west (we had bbq for lunch, nothing interesting to report on)

So naturally I thought of her instantly when i found myself nibbling on a Macaron (Black Cherry Chocolate) at Nadége on Queen Street West. May and I have recently had a ridiculous obsession over Macarons and i can report by saying, Nadége's Macarons are far too sweet and candylike to take seriously.

I also noticed a new indian place across the street. Madras Pantry. Looks pretty awesome.. in a hip space, but i'll wait to try the food before i give my full judgement. The interiors are done by Commute Home (also on queen west) I reconized it when i walked in. If you're dying for a review, check out BlogTO's.

Steph's Pasta

Then i met up with Steph, Hilary and Peyton for dinner at their place and to help with their wedding planning. Steph made a pasta with with a tomatoe sauce from a jar, but added chicken, spinach, mushrooms and White peppers! yepp.. so white peppers looks like green peppers, taste like green peppers but are white colour (with maybe a slight slight shade of purple). I actually don't remember the last time i ate this. thanks for dinner! =]
