We were asked by the Stop this year to help document their first annual night market in the Honest Ed's alleyway.  Beer tents, shaved ice, food carts built by architects/designers, famous chefs, new restaurants and not to mention everything was all you can eat.  What an amazing event, with proceeds towards a meaningful organization, congratulations.  There are too many details to write about, so hopefully the timelapse and following slideshow will help tell the story.  Most of the photos are take by the two of us, and some additional photos in the collection are by our good friend Titus who joined the two of us for the evening.  You can flip through the below or view it larger, here.  Don't miss out on this next year!

once when i was a growing boy in highschool.. i'd go to all you can eats all the time.. and sure enough i'd get my money's worth and i'd roll uncomfortably all the way back home. no longer the case. this is a post about my recent trips back to a few...





so, first destination was japanese buffet at Wasabi with my family to celebrate William's birthday. With a huge selection, you'll find all kinds of asian dishes at Wasabi. Its the go to place for most markham suburbanites. I really like the little deep fried Durian things, the seaweed salads and all the seafood. But as usual, i didn't have a monster appetite, i only had 2.5 plates or so





after bball practice, our team went to Chako all you can eat. Only $10.99 per person after 10pm its a pretty darn good deal. lots of endless red meat, without a doubt we all had meat sweats in the middle of our sleep. i vote spare beef ribs the best.
