psst... can you keep a secret?

can you keep a secret for like the next 2 hours or so? so may.. poor may.. is currently, and finally on the last leg of her trip home. Yesterday, her flight was overbooked so she had to stay in Rome an extra day.. and today her flight was delayed into Newark / New Jersey. And because of the delay, she missed her connecting flight back to Toronto. Then she managed to snag a flight.. and from 520pm it slowly got bumped all the way till 745pm now.. She's finally in the air now and wish her a good flight for me! =]



oh right.. the secret.. so... on the weekend i actually bought her a little suprise which i intended to give her yesterday, and will give her today when she arrives. They are Macarons! her favourite! from La Bamboche, these are the best french macarons in the city... We learned this from David & Bonnie whome i photographed their wedding this past summer. They had a Macaron tree for the wedding cake, how awesome is that? The black sesame and pistachio were my favourite. So yea.. i can't open the box.. but here's a sneak peak of the box red ribbon i tied on. please excuse my terrible ribbon bow tying skills. Christmas is perfect for May because she loves red.. and i think red bows everywhere is exactly what she needs =] i doubt we'll have photos of the macarons to show you cuz we'll gobble them right up when she opens this.. but check out may's post a while back earlier this summmer if you have no idea what they are.
