Having a big breakfast on the weekend is a must in our apartment. We love the smell of bacon and the texture of runny eggs! But this time we tried making something sweet to start off the weekend.
We made blackberry and pineapple pancakes following this recipe.
The blackberry and pineapple we got from Foody Mart in Markham. The pineapple was $3 for two i think, you can't find that deal anywhere else.
Gabe picked up the strawberry balsamic dessert sauce in Fiesta Farm, it's freshly made by Fiesta Farm, so we have that topped up the pancakes along with extra pineapple and of course bacon.
The strawberry sauce is delicious, i think i'll have to make a cheesecake topped with that soon.
