I'm not even sure if this is worthy of the blog, but i do want to share it with May.. so i guess it is! So at the first pre season Raptors game that Darrick and I went to.. i decided to give the new hot dog stand a try. It's called Burkie's (Brian Burke is the Maple Leafs new general Manager). Anyways this is the new hot dog stand that has all kinds of hot dogs, and altho intreguing from a dirty stadium food point of view.. it was just gross.
So i had the poutine hot dog, which was pretty genius in the idea. You have things that the fast food joints at the ACC already have.. such as gravy, cheese and then they sprinkle Hickory Sticks which is basically a potato chip product. The first bite was alright but the rest of it was a chore to eat. Hot dogs or anything on a grill in my opinion should have a char on it. This one was as if it was steamed and the combination just turned out unpleasant.
